Hey there, curious minds and lifelong learners!
I'm Joanna — a cognitive psychologist, English language coach, and PhD candidate researching lifelong learning at Maastricht University.
I’ve always loved learning.
But over time, I’ve learned why many people don’t.
For a lot of us, learning became tied to school experiences that felt stressful, boring, or discouraging — grades, pressure, comparison. No wonder learning itself started to feel heavy.
My mission is to change that.
At Lingo Space, I create a space where learning feels human again — curious, supportive, and kind. I draw on psychology, cognitive science, and over 20 years of teaching experience to help people learn smarter, not harder, in ways that actually respect how our brains work.
Here, you’ll find:
-
learning shaped around you, not a one-size-fits-all method
-
practical, evidence-based strategies
-
a supportive environment where mistakes are part of learning, not something to fear
What you won’t find:
-
boring drills
-
rigid systems
-
learning that feels like a chore
I believe learning a language isn’t just about words and grammar.
It’s about confidence, mindset, and rediscovering the joy of learning.
You don’t have to love learning yet.
We can start by making it feel safe.
